Founder

OneCert was founded by Sam Welsch and accredited by the USDA on Earth Day, in 2003. His legacy continues to guide OneCert’s mission, and his influence remains woven into every aspect of our work.

Inspectors

We work with both staff and independent inspectors to ensure coverage across all regions. High‑quality inspections are the foundation of the organic system, and our inspectors bring strong field experience and professionalism to every visit.

Producer Team

Our crops, wild crops, and livestock reviewers draw on backgrounds in farming, agronomy, animal science, and regulatory compliance. With an average of nine years at OneCert, they provide steady, knowledgeable support to producers.

Handler Team

Our handler reviewers bring expertise in food and grocery operations, label compliance, and laboratory analysis—along with more than 60 years of combined experience at OneCert.

Administrative Support

Our administrative team keeps everything running smoothly, from answering calls to coordinating communication and managing essential office functions. They ensure clients feel supported and connected throughout the certification process.

IT & Development Team

A dedicated developer and project manager support our internal database, client portal, and myOID, continually improving the tools our clients rely on.
